Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Upgrade Renovation (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to the client (“you” or “your”). By hiring us or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Work

All work to be performed will be outlined in a written agreement or proposal. Any modifications to the original scope of work must be documented and approved by both parties in writing.

3. Estimates and Payments

  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

  • A deposit (typically 30-50%) is required before work begins.

  • Remaining payments are due in stages as outlined in the agreement or upon completion.

  • Late payments may incur additional charges.

4. Project Timeline

We strive to complete all projects on schedule. However, timelines may be affected by weather, availability of materials, change orders, or other unforeseen issues. Any delay will be communicated as early as possible.

5. Changes and Additions

Any changes to materials, layout, or scope requested by the client may result in revised costs and extended timelines. All such changes will require a written Change Order signed by both parties.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide access to the property as needed.

  • Ensure pets and valuables are secured.

  • Remove or protect furniture and personal belongings as necessary.

7. Warranties

We offer a [insert period, e.g., 1-year] workmanship warranty on all completed remodeling work. Manufacturer warranties apply to installed materials and products.

8. Liability

Upgrade Renovation is insured and will take every precaution to protect your property. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing conditions or damage

  • Delays or damages beyond our control

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract in writing. You will be responsible for payment of all work completed and materials purchased up to the termination date.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will first attempt to be resolved through mediation. If unresolved, disputes may be handled through arbitration or small claims court as appropriate.

11. Use of Images

We may take photos of the project before, during, and after completion for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
